mines standerd thread and weld a nut on it then you should be able to remove if you weldings up to scratch and leave the nut on there for ever then no more struggling to undo filler plug

one more tip allways undo the filler before the drain plug on anything diffs gearbox etc. failing that take you jeep to a big hill roll it over fill it up through the drain plug and roll it back over lol

Not an option for me unfortunately, I cant and dont have a welder plus my front diff now has no oil in it so cant drive it.

ya joking but it would work lol big hammer and a drift or cold chissel and good hard wack most of the time frees hard to undo nuts etc ive had breacker bars on things before and no luck and im a big bloke and used a cold chissel and one sharp wack and they undo nicley

blow torch around the nut trying to avoid the nut its self the metel will expand and the nut wont then hit with cold chissel is the way i would go
