Get your hands on an impact gun and a socket to fit, hammer it for a while then big breaker bar, hammer it, breaker bar, it will come loose. Might struggle to jack it high enough to get the breaker bar on it, if a breaker bar isn't long enough, a hollow tube (scaffold pole) helps extend it/add mega leverage.

I didn't know all this had been going on since my last visit. I have found lots of heat and an impact gun nearly always does it but I see it is sorted now. Why do peeps tighten them up so much..........garages tend to be the worst offenders.

Nice metalwork there Alex. B) I like it - the front always looks vulnerable IMHO.

I have been saved many a time by an impact gun, the shock works a treat, I find bars can be dangerous, either shearing the bolt, rounding of all sorts of bolt heads, or breaking my knuckles, shortly followed by my temper.

Top work on the diff guard, some underbody protection is definatly on my to do list. What a bargain aswell! Shows what a little ingenuity and hard work can do.!

good idea but it looks like you have lost a few inches in ground clearance on the diff you should shorten the bracket part up and gaine back some inches

Very cheap concidering the kap one is 70 quid plus vat and postage!

Probably lost half to an inch of clearance under the lowest point of the diff which shouldnt really matter as in theory it should slide over obstructions.would rather lose abit of clearance then muller the diff ;)

time will tell,if it becomes a problem ill get it chopped down.
