No, have not tried in reverse. But I would worry that the Jimny's centre of gravity would not be in line with the lift's two masts. This lift is rated for 3000 kg.

A jimny is within approximately 60 40 weight balance front and rear so it shouldn't be that bad and you could always put a transmission stand under it for stability.

Installed Hella Sharp tones to replace the underwhelming standard horn.

mounted them to my spotlight brackets so they have more room than the standard mounting location and have been bent back slightly so they don’t clash with the bonnet vents, the spotlight brackets were M6 so drilled the mounting holes to M8 to fit a larger bolt for the horns.
