Re fitted the wiper motor and added a ground but sadly didnt resolve any issues. Did some more research and have more ideas for next visit

3D printed and fitted some spacers to the spare wheel bumpers to help stop the rear door rattling.
A combination of offset wheels and spare wheel carrier extended by the previous owner left a large gap letting the spare flex side to side.
Printed the spacers in PETG at 40mm and 45mm for a flush fit on each side then fitted a rubber penny washer to protect the painted surface and fixed in place with new M6 machine screws.
Stopped the spare wheel wobbling when closing the rear door and reduced noticeable rattle over speed bumps.

I went for 6 walls and 50% gyroid infill, could probably have got away with less but wanted to fit and forget.

have you tried reversing it?
