Today, I changed the front pads on my 2019 SZ5. They were the original pads, I just clocked 50,000 miles last week. The discs are barely worn measuring 9.8mm (10mm when new, Min 8mm). They still had 3mm down the to the wear groove, but last time i looked at them, I could have sworn one pad was tapering like a wedge.

Today I have mostly been changing the brake fluid. Still not hugely happy with the pedal feel but at least now it shouldn't boil just because I looked at the discs with the side eye!

Today I changed the front and rear diff oil. Seeing as it isn't scheduled for change in the service interval, I had decided to do it every 2 years. That never happened, it is 7.5 years old now. But, I am only on 51,000 miles (4 years old in miles
), so it's not too bad.
I got the proper oil as specified in the manual.
I thought it would take ages to fill up with this, but it only took 36 pumps (rear diff).
Edit: Just checked, I bought the fill and drain seals off Martin in December 2021. Shows how long I have been meaning to do this.

Picking up my 222€ new tyre today.
Found a piece of rebar sticking out of a curb on friday. The snow plow must have damaged the curb during the winter.
Will check thread depth compared to the other ones so might have to buy a second one later.
If I buy one more I can keep the most worn as a spare but then I will need a matching steel wheel too.
Then get it powder coated to match. Not sure if I'll bother, hoping the wear is not too uneven between them.
Norway -84 SJ410, 87 SJ413 lwb, 88 sammy trailer.
