J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp
Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...
www.youtube.com/user/riclemus
Body back on the chassis and acquired a free trailer with a rotten axle, ok body. sooo... striped it down and started messing about...
bit too long and too narrow. Hmm. Pretty easy to shorten, no easy to make wider...
Thinking required on this one. Two problems are the width and if I actually like it or not. Step-sided pickup anyone? It has the bonus of the lights and number plate bracket being there already, I could even make it a tipping body.
anyhow, tried one of J999MNY's 31" tyres on to check for clearance and all was well...
and put the fuel tank back in, refitted rear prop and put some juice in it (needed to turn it around in the workshop). Battery dead so thats another thing needed. Also have airbag and ABS lights on the dash now . Need to think of something for the fuel filler as its currently just dangling about...
and had a check that the front bumper still fits in some fashion. Not bad but I need to do something about the fixing points now the front end is all different underneath (and its got a 2" body lift now as well)...

Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.
ADOS Attention Deficit Ooooh Shiny!
3 link the back axle and fit cycle wings, that'd be ace!

Cheers Kieth, my progress is slow but it gives me time to think about things a bit, so I'm happy with being slow
I would be much happier with the trailer body if it was a bit wider and as you say, the 'mudflappery' situation would be much easier! This trailer body just has a drop tailgate so no sides to worry about, but ideally the Carry bed would be the best solution, just need to find one!
SL06 ULS came with it, originally we went for 'Slow and Useless', which translated into Ulysses

Not sure what cycle wings are? do they hug the tyre and attach to the axle instead of the body? 3-link is a bit optimistic for now and i would like it to behave properly on the road, maybe 4-link is more stable?
