Great work there, looks good. Just a thought, how about making the whole 'S' plate into a big bulge?

Thanks! That idea is plan B in the pipeline, I need to have a chat with Keithy about it as hes got a vac machine big enough to do that and skills at making the moulds.

I wanted to try it like this first, mainly to see how the plastic stands up with my hot engine bay, but also as its something quick and easy I can do with my tiddly vac box and basic forming skills.

Theres a sort of plastic thing I've seen on a few Ford ranger raptor pickups which might be a hint to what I'm thinking of, though not as massive as the Ford one ;-)

Another day at JDM Dyno today.

Wiring in the second set of injectors to the bigger S80 ECU. Enough spare cores on the wiring loom to use so pinched some from the EGR valve (gone) to use for the second set of injectors. Johnny did all the work again, its too complex for me!

Then onto the Dyno. Bit of fiddling with the maps (it has 2 now). 1st map is for upto 4500 rpm, then second for over that. It flips between them itself and the VVT is still in there somewhere too. A few runs to smooth it out and its going well. Power run produced about 5 more horses than the last run, but the snorkel is attached now, thus dragging it back slightly more than the original run. Shes now on 127hp and about the same in torque. I will pop a pic of the dyno graph up tomorrow (ive left it in the car and cant be bothered to go get it now  )

All the engine mgmt stuff is beyond me, I could just about balance a pair of carbs and use a timing light.... Lost me when fuel injection came to the fore in the 80's..... christ I feel old...

Did you manage to slow down the throttle linkage ?
