Im beginning to suspect the ITBs I have are too small for my engine, the kit I have is intended for the 1.3, though I noticed DanST have marked it as a 1.6 on their manifold plate (perhaps the plate was for a swift 1.6 originally). They are fairly small aperture, even if there is 4 of them. The bigger ECU will be here soon so its another remap but with it running 2 sets of injectors this time B)

Its enough power for the driveline anyway as it is. The rocklobster doesnt like the low-down torque [I now have] much  Its happiest above 3k rpm and needs the throttle smoothed out a bit for our uses (very twitchy at low rpms, this is due to the tiny bike throttle cable mount on the ITBs mainly).

I would expect the 1.3 to do pretty well on a similar intake and exhaust setup, Maybe around 100hp or so, maybe more. Your car wasnt exactly slow to start with! and I look forwards to the results very much :-) ....

Not that I would wish for your endeavours to fail..... BUT ..... if you end up selling your bottom on the town hall stair... and buy the 45mm Jenvey's that will make your 1800 rev like a bike engine.... (not that it's far off now though....)

Sell me your set up including the management.....

I keep finding 45's when talking to old mates but don't want bigger than 38's really, let me know and we might be able to work a sideways deal....

Back end shortened and boxed, tow points fixed....

Just call me "Stumpy"...... The furthest point out to the rear is the cage and that is 11.5 inches shorter than the furthest point of a standard car (spare wheel)

Something I will bear in mind certainly (the deal, not the bottom related stuff  ). I suspect changing it all about now would be a right pain and fairly expensive. I need to drive it more when the lockdown is off to see what its really like. Had a sneak about in low range 2wd on a dry local lane (one you have been down) last weekend and its 'twitchy' nature is amplified somewhat. It can spin the rear tyres in 5th low way too easily :woohoo:

The BigJimny meet will have a fair few new builds and some really nice cars......

I'm looking forward to seeing your car too Dave, Keith Philips's looks amazing, Riccy's is a monster and I can't wait to hear it revving, James's as pretty as a peach...... Lots of people getting close to their final spec's and completed builds.

Looking forward to seeing all of the old Laning gang (with a few newly modded cars).....
