Yea I have been thinking about spacers to push the wheels out a bit, I find when our laining that I and constantly rocking from one side to the other when in ruts made by land rovers etc with wider track as they don't quite sit in them right.
I can't justify bigger tyres yet, but maybe when they need changing it will be an option.

I did, dont worry they have masking tape on them, I could not be bothered with the rubber bushes however, one of them was fairly easy to remove but the others I just left in, a nice coat of white paint wont hurt,
  A little more than 20p A fiver for all the steel as off cuts from the local steel fab shop and a bit of beer money to Ken to weld it all up. And that's both fron and rear
After getting a little stumped trying to fix the issue I have with getting 4wd on Thursday I fitted some new front pads as they started to die on me the other day, I also fitted my new 2" lift springs along with the original 2" spring spacers that came on the car but cut down to an inch. The 3 rough pro comp shocks I had have are also fitted and I am just waiting for my forth to be delivered from Jimny bits, unfortunately there seems to be a bit of a delay with delivery, i guess due to Christmas.
I am I really please with the lift so far it looks very high at present but I guess this will settle once I use it a bit. I will get some pics up when I have the 4th shock on fix the cv joint (well lets hope that's what it is)
For Christmas I also got a usb gps receiver for my net book so i now have memory maps in the jimny with real time positioning . The net book fits very nicely on the dash and is secured down with some Velcro. Also got some seat covers so these are on and will save the seats from any future mud
