Ok I'll add another one. New pads may have to be filed a little on the contact points to the carrier as they can stick on even when the rest of the caliper is free to move.

I'll add yet another cause.... My Jimmy's only done 36k from new but has had a hard life laning. Where the panhard rod bolts go the chassis the holes have gone oval, I've had to weld some washers on either side.
I've also had it the other end on the axle where the threads stripped from the captive nut, needing a new axle.
I have Rob Storr panhards with rose joint one end and poly the other.

Had a similar but very mild shake problem though all the bearings and pins seemed ok, had the wheels balanced, after reading and earlier post about cleaning the alloy wheels and hub contact, done this and applied a bit of copper grease, took all the old balance weights off as they seemed to be lots opposing each other and the problem almost disappeared, keep an eye on the tyre pressures (normal tyres), seems ok and acceptable for now but will see how we get on through time.
great tips

What would likely cause intermittent wobble? Sometimes it's smooth as silk between 45-50 but other times I have a mild wobble?
