I'm a newbie so Thanks for the info!
also reducing tyre pressure to the correct pressure helps lessen the wobble..

I did them up to torque setting "FT" (F***ing tight) when I put them on. I jacked the car up tonight to check the tie bar and steering bar/rods for play. I couldn't detect any play in the other bars. However, If I have one wheel off the ground, one hand on the panhard rose joint and the other hand trying to push and pull the wheel (as if checking for kingpin play) then you can feel (and hear) the rose joint playing around the bolt. It's not a case of the bolts not being tight enough, I feel that it's Off Road Armoury making a poor design call in using Rose Joints.
In order to get the bolt through the rose joint, the bolt needs to be smaller than the hole in the rose joint. It's this size difference that is causing the play. Every time the panhard is pushed or pulled, the joint pulls from one extreme of it's play to the other.

would fitting a steering damper help the problem? I mean obviously if theres an underlying problem you need to sort that first, but in the case of just having big tyres or as a temporary fix?

Play in the steering box is another factor, which is easy enough to adjust!

I had the death wobble in my jimny and I was stressed that I am doomed with it!!
well after my yearly check at the garage I could not hold the wheel strait at 80KM this issue also happened while
breaking!
I went to the garage and on my first visit I did wheel balancing which solved the wobble but yet I had this wobble when braking! on my second visit I changed my front breaks to new ones which isn't that expensive
and I am glad to say H-A-L-L-U-I-A I am cured!!!
