Hi Guys,

Just to make you aware that even on a brand new 2013 plate Jimny you still get a small wobble I had it for a year and it started off with 8 miles on the clock and it was fine, its now done 1400 miles, been to Scotland and back and started to get the wobble so had the front tyres replaced, as they needed it and the alignment was done and its gone. :)

You wore a set of front tyres out in 1400 miles?

Well done that man!

Just had the tyres on my jimny replaced as the Bridgestone duellers that were on when I bought it were perished, had conti 4x4 contact fitted as most of my miles are on road with some farm tracks and light off roading around shoots etc.
Car was fine before now with the new tyres it's developed a nasty wobble between 45-50mph. Nothing that makes me think it's gonna kill me mind, just not very comfortable on a 600mile trip to Cumbria.
Wondering why it's started doing it, could over inflation by the garage have anything to do with it?

I would think they havnt balanced them up correctly .or you have a slightly bent wheel that was on the back and is now on the front . . But would put money on there out of balence

I would bet on over inflation, most garages do not realise how low they should be (23 psi)
