I'm new to 4WD

But I ve used it a few times now. I drives fine. All works as it should.

The other day I put it in and the light started flashing.

My wheels were full lock to the left.

I straightend it up and tryed it again and it stopped flashing.

I guess wheels have to be straight on for it to engage properly?

As we've confirmed that my 4WD isn't working is there a simple way I can lock it in 4WD for the winter? If so is it still possible to purchase manual locking hubs at a later date so that I can put it back in 2WD again for the summer?

J-Bro - As my 4WD doesn't seem to have worked for a while I've no idea! I'm sure your question will be answered shortly...

Take your hubs off and manually lock them. Finger in the middle and pull out to engage into splines. Put them back on.

Now connect both spigots together on the back of the each complete axle hub assembly. Stops water getting in.you can use one of the rubber pipes that are there already. Also this way whatever your vacuum system does will have no effect on the hubs. Bingo done. If you want the light to stop flashing too connect the two wires on the vacuum sensor together. This its below the two vacuum valves.
