I have AVM hubs on my other jimny and I just leave them in 4wd most of the time. I just flick them into 2wd for long journeys. So Facades way of locking the hubs and leaving them would be fine. Especially if you just do short journeys.

Remember to join the two wires on the vacuum sensor to stop the green 4wd light from flashing.

Where is the vacuum sensor? Do i have to join the pipes an how do you join them or can i block them? Ive just fit some sj hubs.

I'd just join the two pipes from the solenoids together and then use one pipe on the back of the hubs to link the lock and unlock spigots together to keep water out of the hub. The vacuum sensor is clipped under the 2 vsv solenoids on the drivers inner wing (they are blue). There is a plastic plug on it. Either use a short link wire or cut and join the two wires. Bingo 4wd light comes on solid as soon as you move the lever

I was just going to leave the hub pipes connected an just loop the pipe on the sensor if that works and makes sense? Have you got a picture of the vacuum cylinder or sensor or what ever i need to look for?

If your leaving it all connected there is no need to loop anything. Just do the two wires on the vacuum sensor. Basically short circuiting it so the controller instantly thinks there is a vacuum when you engage 4wd.

PM me you number and i'll take a pic on my phone tomorrow and send it you. But it is easy to find. Its cylindrical and is under the two valves. It shound be clipped in to a spring clip and has a pipe going to it and and also has a vent on it, it has the whiteish/clear electrical plug on with I think a black and a white wire. Just join these two wires. There is a thread on going by rs200boy titled vac valve wanted or something and there is a pic on there of the two valves. The blue check valve in the pic is NOT what you are looking for. Happy hunting :)

If this picture works it shows the two valves and then the grey vac sensor you are looking for.
