You say you're getting a Code 12, that would suggest there is either no immobilizer fitted, or no immobilizer fault detected, an immobilizer fault would show an 8x code - 81, 82, 83 or 84.
Have you checked for ignition power to the coils? Each coil connector has three wires, black with blue stripe is the ground, black with white stripe is +12V, you should have power with the ignition switched on.

Ok so I have checked the coil intake wires, 12v reading ok on both coils,with ignition on,so I should be getting a spark ,shouldn't I, I'll have another go for spark check.

Ok so tried a spark check, there is no spark at all,nothing coming from coils, I tried a check on the input to coil with engine turnover and still 12v,I tried a output from coil with engine turnover and nothing coming out?

Should there be a reading from the brown /black wire from the coil supply plug.

Have a look at this video - focus on the 0.34~0.45 portion - find that sensor on your car and make sure it's connected.
