Hi after a body off restoration my car engine light is on and not going off and turns but won't start. Getting fuel to engine. Running fine before restoration. Any ideas.

The first thing is to get the codes off the eml. Then check that everything is plugged in and nothing is trapped wiring loom wise.

Depends on what year jimny you have, very early ones you bridge pins and read flashes on the dash light on later ones with obd11 a simple reader will set you back maybe 20 quid.

It might be a good idea to provide a little more detail about the Jimny itself, what year is it (Jimnys have been around for many, many years), what engine does it have?

Hi I have tried a reader obd11 but won't load up at the end giving only ERROR read out. The year of jimny is 2001 W reg.
