That looks really good. I wonder if you could post up a blue print? I'm sure I could make one in my metal work evening class in a couple of hours.

Has anyone tried one of these from a Lawnrover?



They're only about 20 quid on eBay but no idea if it could be adapted to fit the Jimny.

Not sure how I could put it up and make sure its actual size, ill have a think on how to do it if not When I have the final piece ill do a little guide on how I made the template.

Apparently they have a habbit of falling off as the front of the diff is slightly tapered so they dont grip very well.

The round ones look ok but thay only protect the diff pan were as the one that jonesyba420 has designed look more like a skid plate which in my eyes will work much better

i would like to know how much if any ground clearange is lost as this is the resson i havnt fabbed anything up

Well when I make mine I am going to make it tight to the bottom of the diff so I will only lose between 6 and 10 mil I think / hope
