Went well until I realised the suspiciously double din looking hole is a fraction smaller than double din - mounted in a bit of a blue peter way but is secure and out of the way so Im happy!

i know how you feel :lol: i did the same with mine and i took forever but its all in. did you bolt your cb mount the the radio cage? i did made my life hell trying to get it back in the hole...... its one of them jobs you regret starting but looks good after

The install only took about an hour, the fitting into the dash about 4!!!
You are right though - looks pot on!

I've had systems like this in front wipers.
The pipe connects in the door space to the one way valve.
I adjusted the little jets so one shoots to just above the end of the blade and the other to the other end. Gives a great set of jets.
The pipe has enough curve to accommodate the sweep of the wiper.
I put a grommet in the hole in the door and used a plentiful amount silicone seal too. I can't see any flexing where the pipe goes through the door but I admit I am thinking of putting a plasticlamp at the spare wheel carrier just to make it 100% guaranteed stable.
