Looking good mate.

I did my gearbox mount recently and although it looks ok it feels better now.

I put direct replacement cree led bulbs in my Fiesta reverse lights recently and they make such a difference. I got the wrong ones at first but still have them so wonder if they fit the Jimny.

Cheers kirky !

yea the old girl is still looking canny.snorkel tidys it up a bit as me dad says "it dosent look as pikey now" to when i had my pond hose fitted although wont knock it as it did its job.

After reading you had changed yours for poor gear selection i did mine what a difference it has made well worth the money and you cant really see it in the pictures but it was coming away quite bad.

im toying with putting my reverse lights on a switch mite be handy for the trips away me and my laning buddies are planning.

Just out of interest, Kirkynut, I bought a new box mount recently from Martin, but haven't got round to it yet......on the Haynes spanner scale...how many??
I have the idea it's dead simple, but are there any hidden secrets I should know about? :)

Cheers,
Chris

Thought id do a small update had a great run out couple or weekends ago few testing lanes jimny coped fine

Got hold of a lobster box lastweek for a good price id say not used it off road but i can see what all the fuss is about deffo.again the "always wanting more" is relevent, standard box,410 box now a lobster.

And the jimny hit a little milestone in my ownership

Done 10k in it since jan 2013 not alot really although its been my daily drive since december and doing fine although i dont do many miles.

Oh yeah, the rocklobster is a wonderful thing to behold for a Jimny owner! Just be careful with your cv's as it creates so much more torque!

It's the old gears working with new gears that make them noisy. There's no way around it unfortunately. Between my tyres and my transfer box I can probably be heard coming down the road from a bit of a distance away!
