2 inch body lift and extended brake lines fitted .......... thanks to Gaz and Chris.
Jimnybits 2 inch kit
and Bigjimny extended brake lines
spent a few weeks before the planned fitting date spraying and spraying with penetrant - body lift mounts, brake line couplings, steering rod linkage, air box, headlight, bumper fittings ... and anything else that got in my way.
but tried to crack the body mounts off and  solid, severe risk of snapping off :pinch:
no alternative but to go for plan B ...... book into garage on ramps and have heat and voodoo magic applied
on they go ...........
before with 1.5 inch spring spacers and shock extenders
and after the body lift
well pleased love it ........... :woohoo:
But there's a lot more involved than peeps would have you believe, need to lengthen vac hoses on post 2005 trucks, need to loosen wiring looms, front and rear bumper mounts need changing, steering rod is a real pain to get off and fit spacers, gear knob is two inches lower down and inner gator needs modifying to enable slick gear changes .... etc etc
now just need to save for 3 more -30 offset steels and fit big BF's, then a 2 inch suspension lift
EDIT: forgot to mention ..... the ride is much improved, softer, less crashy .....
couple of pics that Gaz took
edit ... additional pic ........ probably why it rides so much softer now ..... padding

Yes, it's funny how things like that are overlooked.

so another x3 to buy
don't think I can wait till I replace all 5 tyres to BFs
most likely get the rims and pop the existing old style grabbers onto them.
