HI

Jimny 2015 VVT Manual

WE swap m16a vvt from suzuki swift sport 2014

the engine would not wont to start
the engine is cranking but there no spark in the ignition
we try to check all sensor ..we cant interference with computer to read the data
we check all connector
please any help

i am always swap m18a
but this time my friend bring for me m16a vvt but its new 2014 ..there some different with ignition system that it has
i dont EGR install it because it dosent fit in m16a engine t
m18a has EGR system

i want note m16a has 4 separate 4 ignition coils as you seen in the picture

Ahh so you have 4 ignition coils....can't you change the cam cover and fit the wasted spark coils?

i swap the cover and indignation coil of m13a
now the problem i have petrol and low spark

Did you check the engine is grounded?

Put a multimeter set on DC Volts from the negative terminal on the battery and the other to the engine block....anything over 0.5V I'd reground it.

Do the sensors have the same resistance value as the originals?

There was different in the trigger wheel
m13a 31 teeth
m16a 2014 vvt sport 30 teeth

any recommendation

Damn that's hard cheese old chap....swap the trigger wheel?....it'll fit but it means dropping the sump removing the crank and 3 allen socket heads....it's a whole lot of work but it should be able to be managed by the ecu then.
