If the shocks are in good condition there's no bouncing around.

But why lowering a Jimny? Why not just get a Fiat Panda 4x4 instead? Or just get a Fiesta?

One other thing on lowering it. You'll also need to correct the castor angle.

If you go lower, you will have to go stiffer to avoid the sus bottoming out. By unstable and bouncy, I was referring to the front 3 link and drag link steering, it will wander as the road camber changes.
Not trying to argue, i just cannot think of any justifiable reason to lower a jimny, or encourage somebody to do so.
The suspension and steering setup is just not designed to work well setup lower than standard, all the axle travel paths will be messed up.
Al in all, id strongly advise against it. Live axle's and low stiff sus may look cool, but the ride quality will Just suck.

So its ok to lift a jimny 4+" but cant lower it well iv hurd it all now lol it will be fine to lower it as long as the spings have the same amount of coils and have the same spring rate just the gap between the coils will be smaller and different arms to reset the camber failing that just rase all the shock mount and spring mounts higher so you can keep the same springs n shock and just change the trailing arms
