Oil filter sandwich plate that came with 3 blanked off ports. will use one for the turbos oil feed and maybe use another port for a oil temperature gauge.I probably should monitor the temperatures. If the oil starts getting to hot I will have to resort to installing a oil cooler. I put the oil return in the sump a few months ago

This is the kit that HKS (japanese tuning company) made for the suzuki swift sport
Suzuki Swift Sport HKS bolt on turbo kit (tdi-plc.com)
That M16a engine has a compression ratio of 11.1:1
The compression of my non vvt liana is 9.7:1 which means it will be more knock tolerable.
hope this works in the real world though!

Whole other level these builds are. Lads how do you get into the technology end of doing this, or where do you start with getting ecus to connect to sensors and make it work. Are places you can learn it?

I certainly couldn’t wire it myself but tried to familiarise myself with the wiring diagram. You can recycle most sensors as they are actually quite generic. The reason I had to change the coolant and air temperature sensors as they are variable resistors so the ECU needs info on what resistance equates to what temperature, I have added a picture of a Bosch sensor look up table.

Removed radiator and placed the intercooler on today. That is about as much as I can do before it will be undrivable. Need to book dyno which has a 4 week wait and get the car ready in that time

Hopefully should be quite painless! Not looking forward to taking the old knock sensor off as it seems tricky to get to and I don’t fancy taking the inlet manifold off.
