Turbo M16A Jimny was created by Motleycrew
Thought I should share my experience of introducing forced injection on a Jimny, as there seems to be a lack of shared information on the web. My goal is to make a rallycross style motor for the road which is a laugh to drive. My ideal motor would be a Pajero evolution if my budget allowed but these are almost classic status.

I am now prepping the car for the auto electrician to fit the new ECU. I have a bosch wideband knock sensor to fit on. I had to get this stud from America from a Mazda rx7 specialist website and the Jimny seems to share the same thread size.

I could not find the Jimnys original looks up tables for the air temperature sensor and the coolant sensor so I have had to buy new bosch sensors which only cost about £25

This is going to be exciting. Have you got stronger rods and pistons for it so you can run more than 5psi of boost?

I went with a brand called Link because its the one that my local dyno is most familiar with . The model is called Monsoon. You just need to check the one you choose has the features that you require eg knock control, vvt or closed loop boost control and enough inputs and outputs. I found its more a case of seeing what is the most basic model in a company's range you can get away with as the prices start going up

still all standard internals, would like to forge it but the cost is crazy. Would then also need to put a uprated fuel pump
