Just remembered... when I popped round to see the lads working on the buggy -
I remember noticing that the rear engine / gearbox mount had delaminated, under the sill bar on the ramp in the above photo!, so I've just ordered one...
From the BigJimny store of course! - www.bigjimny.com/store/engine-mount-rear...ox-mount-type-1.html
A(nother) job for Wednesday then...?

I forgot (was embarrassed) to say, I’ve cried off rejoining the group for their first trip after lockdown is eased, this Sunday, as I’ve still got a couple of things to sort out on the buggy, and having only got it back on Friday after the clutch and gearbox were swapped, I’m not confident in it, or personally, to have a full days greenlaning in it just yet...
So I’m going to have a few more local trips both on and off road to make sure we’re both ready... me and the Boogie.
It looks like a wet week too...

Teething troubles are to be expected. Ulysses has been non stop tinkering for the entire time I've had it, Your coming to the end of it now as there's not much else left that hasn't been fettled now

The bits have started arriving...
Intake / idle control cleaner...
Also need to check where I removed the vacuum hub gubbins that I haven’t left a pipe loose to the atmosphere...
Both are to try and solve the fast idle issue...
(Although it would help to keep the pies warm?!)

try ( if you haven't) unplugging one at a time, each of the sensors around the throttle body and running the car, if its rough but stable its that sensor
i had a hunting/stalling issue, unplugged the TPS and it was rough but stable
if you have done all of this, ignore me!
