That's quite clever. I have done similar with grease in the past but like the voice-over said its a messy job.

And... I went back to Plan A !
Local fella with my old gearbox in storage never appeared, I saw on facebook that he'd been away for the weekend in his motorhome, so I messaged him Tuesday and heard nothing back...
So early this morning I messaged James (Priestley) again, and asked if it was okay if I flew up today to pick up the gearbox he had...
I've just got back... cuppa tea and a butty, and then dropped the gearbox off at the garage, so we're all happy, and ready for fitment on Friday...
I could of waited to see if the local gearbox turned up, but I wasn't holding my breath, so I decided with Wednesday being my day off in the week it was a lot safer to go and get it today, so that the lads have got a gearbox to fit back in on Friday, with a new clutch, etc, etc... I'd rather end up with a spare gearbox than none at all![;) ;)](/media/kunena/emoticons/11.png)
Time to walk the dogs, and then I'm off for my second jab
