Thanks Darthloachie ;) Should be back from powdercoating real soon and attached, I've got a shopping list of fixings for tomorrow B)

Arrived with ParcelForce today too -

New design of adjustable Panhard Rods from JimnyBits, being as they had a sale on this last weekend, be rude not to!, and I figured they'd be better suited for my +4" lift...

Ten minutes saw them poly-bush'ed in the vice with some sockets...

But didn't have time to fit them... so I'll get the 'old' ones in the post tomorrow James (J999PRE) ;) Sorry!

Fitting it (bolting and riveting) it on on Sunday...

But just collected from powdercoating...

Chuffed with how it's turned out...

I've got some coach bolts and rubber washers to go through the round mount on the B-Pillar, 4 big rivets a side at the front, and a couple of bolts to come up through the top of the back bumper, through the poly bushes and into the ends of the tubes that drop down the back -

And some black silicant sealant to bed everything down nicely and fill the joins in the front and rear bars...

Nearly done! Roll on Sunday B)

Translation in progress...

[trans]Travelodge, McDonalds, Travel-Inn[/trans]

Ah, got you now... LOL ;)

Think I'll stick with Brett and the comfy option... for the price of a roof tent I could stay in the comfort of a Travelodge for the weekend twice a year for the next five years...

Also fitted my new JimnyBits adjustable panhards today -

BACK

FRONT

I had too... I'd removed the 'old' ones to send to James J999PRE and shipped them yesterday (you should have had them today mate?), and when I rang the powdercoaters they surprisingly said the bars were ready - I only dropped them off on Wednesday - so I had to fit the panhards to get Jim' mobile to go get the roof bars B)

Off to Halfords on Sunday to treat myself to a 27mm spanner... don't want to gnurl those nice shiny nuts! :S

FINISHED -

The rear is bolted to the top of the rear bumper...

The middle goes through the main 'hoop' of the body -

And neatly hides behind the regtangular plastic grommits -

And the front is held in place by four huge rivets a side above the doors -

Well pleased with that, just how I pictured it... B)

No noticeable extra noise... not what you can hear over the growl from the snorkel anyway!

Better take it up the expressway this week and see what it's like at 60mph?... ;)
