Have put in an old Pioneer I had from my boy racer days. The harness I had for it fitted straight in, how ever the dashboard clock is now permently on, the stereo it's self is on all the time and dose not need the ignition on but the weirdest thing of all is that when I disconnect the aerial cable all of the above go off???
Hope that makes sense, if so has anyone got any idea what is going on, will it be ok to run the clock all the time or will it be to much of a drain on the battery? Not to bothered about having to turn the stereo on & off all the time, maybe I might need to get the correct harness if so will it be the same or maybe mod the one I have "yadder yadder yadder"

There are two connectors on a regular head unit: B for speakers (4 speakers, 8 pins) and A for power/switched power/ground/etc.
Get the Jimny wiring diagrams and together with this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:ISO_10487_connector_pinout.svg try to arrange them properly.
