I agree about being careful and watch where your wheels are going. I hope I never actually need my recovery points, but it is nice to know they are there.

So today I fitted a USB charger as a few others have done so.

Reading 12.1v with ignition on acc.


My SZ Viewer app reading from a bluetooth dongle in the OBD2 socket reading 12.078v.


And finally the secret menu on the head unit reading 12.06v.


Just fot comparison, this is my phone plugged into the front USB socket, note the charge time.


Then my phone plugged into the rear power socket with a 2amp USB adapter.


And finally the new front USB switched socket.
