Got the wheels back from powder coating last night, so straight on to the tyre shop to get the rubber on them this morning.
Hoping to get them on the car during the weekend. Have to change a wheel bearing first.

Not much cutting needed. Look the part but stick out a tad bit much to slide thru the technical checkpoints I am afraid.

Looking good 🙂
If you're on about protruding from the arches
I'm going to go with easywider.co.uk
They sent me this 35mm extension sample to try

just recieved some crap from ebay wich was said was rubber but was stiff plastic and impossible to get to follow the arch. I have opened a case so hoping to get a refund as they where not as wide either.
I'll check out your recommendation!

In other news. I was on a trip last week with the danes driving mountain and scenic roads for a week before ending up at the norwegian suzuki meet. Will post more on that later.
But a slight problem occured as I was aware of a bearing noise from my R72 gearbox. As some might now this is not the first time.
I swapped the old R72 from 2005 for a newer upgraded model with sealed bearings a few years back.
My current box has about 115000km on it of wich most of it is with a m16a and 235's.
Most of that with lower gearing in the transfer case making it easier on the gearbox torque but, lately with the original transfer case.
With the new much more silent tires and transfer case I luckily could hear the gearbox as it started to whine more and more on the fourth gear. Fifth still being silent.
So I cut the trip short and drove home 150km mostly in the fifth gear. Last time I could hear my gearbox it started to grind pieces off the teeth and locking up after 5-10km but, this time I got home in one piece.
Ordering a new bearing and seal kit any day now.
Any recommendations on sellers or places or brands?
Edit/update: Nevermind, allready ordered on ebay from transmissionpartsonline.
They promised all was like in the picture and real branded and sealed bearings.
Got a swift reply from them and most helpful so just had to get the parts on their way.
Impatient I know
