Got some cheap lifepo4 cells so I built this 12v battery in a carry case. Also rebuilt my other lifepo4 into a case like this so have two of them. Plan is to have one charging from the solar on the trailer, and one from a DC-DC charger from the car alternator. And I can swap them around.

Haven't noticed any cooling problems no, but I rarely see any temps above 25C.
Not sure but I think the lower opening in the bumper lets in the most air.
