I cant remember what I got, i just took them to my local nut and bolt supplies and they gave me 12 in stainless..
You should be ok for the torque, they dont take a massive amount to snap em off

Well, I think I may have negated the need for the tamper proof nuts.
I've been using the original nuts that don't have nylock inserts, so I thought I'd put some loctite on the studs to stop ant vibrations loosening them.
Well....I've put some loctite on that I've borrowed from work and have just looked up the type I've used (after I've actually put it on) and it's a high strength loctite to use in bearing surfaces and is hard to remove with standard tools.
Oh heck
Well it looks as though it'll be hard to remove by any criminal or indeed myself
I don't have any plans to remove it. So as long as the rack doesn't need any nipping up over time I'm hoping I'll be alright.
One day I'll read a label/instructions before I use it lol
