Just out of interest Steve, did you put any tamper proof nuts on to fasten the roof rack?
I'll not sleep now tonight whilst I get some sorted. :-/
I've found these?
Would you be interested in some too?
Are they 6mm thread size? They have a 10mm head size so I'm guessing so?

Thanks all :-) yes I do like the angled front and the mcb4x4 plate. Well chuffed with the result :-))
I'll pick up some nylock nuts from work tomorrow.
Lol, I like the tin cans, doubt I'd be bothered/remember to untie them in the morning :-0
I'll have to write just married on the back. ;-)

your other option is shear nuts, but once they are on they are on and that is that

Hi Steve
I have seen those, I can get some for £4 ish on EBay. I'm quite happy to put some on rather than have the rack stolen, I'm just worried that I might have to put too much torque on the nuts to get them to shear off?
What do you think?
10 x M6 Security Shear Nuts BZP AF - 14.0mm - Anti Vandal Tamper Proof
Is this the correct size?
