Kirkynut your right there, it feels like my foot is welded to the floor sometimes, any how I am very impressed with the Jimny around, I spent a good 4 hours out in it Saturday and another 3 hours Sunday around local lanes and it never missed a beat.
I removed the ARB Sunday morning before going out to see how this affected the on road handling and must say it didn’t affect it as much as I expected it to, then again I can’t say I really noticed any improvement off road either, then again I have not really tackled anything that serious in it yet.

All over mate, mainly Snodland direction then headed over towards Kemsing. I did find a few to be closed so i should have had a good check on the Kent Council website before just heading out, you live and learn.

Just ordered myself a new hi lift jack, some strops and a shackles, have also found a guy selling some waffle boards locally for £20 so will get these also, this should get me out of trouble should the need arise. I didn’t really want to go to the expense of a winch when the lightly hood if using it is pretty slim. I was just a little concerned when out this weekend on my own about getting stuck.
Going to pop down to B&Q and use the voucher i received from my fuel points when I find time to get some garden hose so I can run some breathers from the diffs, transfer box and gearbox. I think it may be worth changing the oil in them all first however.
Then it will be on to fabricating some decent recovery points, and a light bar
