Much as I hate black rims, I have to admit they do look rather better than the previous incumbents :sick:

I like the rear ones a bit more than the front cos they give more illusion of depth.

Looking good Hal:)

If the color difference bothers you a quick spray with plastidip (plastisol?) would have them a similar colour. The plastidip stuff can be peeled of if you chose to keep them charcoal. :)

a bit of a stretch but slightly Jimny related as got some practice with the mig welder today

rescued a neighbours rusty drive gates from the scapman

cut them down,



wire wheel on the drill and cleaned off the rust, ground some clean faces then welded them up, rust converter applied

ready to hang at the side of the house



quite pleased, welding getting a little better :dry:
