Why not plug in a electric fan heater with a wifi connected time switch that sends you a tweet 40mins before you enter the car?

What about a carport? That way you can have the car out the front, other cars can drive through it to get to garage and you will have the roof over the Jimny but no walls, should keep most of the white stuff away?

A single carport is quite cheap or you can build one yourself. Have it up against the side of the house and it will be protected from most weather.

Id put a 240v heater in the car pluggef into a thermostat activatex socket. Run an extension to the car with a quick release disconnect on.

Heater comes on when temp drops.

Run out , pull out plug drive off.
