Some interesting ideas. Ford need ti let go of the patent on heated front screens.

The water bottle idea is intriguing

Get 1000w continuous inverter link it to a 2nd battery that is charged via relay switch/split charge unit, plug one of those cheap timeswitches into the 240v output then plug 1000w fan heater into the timer to come on 10 mins before you get in the car.

Split charger 2nd battery 12v fan heater and a timer unit
set the timer to come on 20 minutes before you go to work

Or GSM remote control switch just send it a text to turn it on or off

why dont you fit another battery in the boot and have a split charging system and a 12v heater with a plug and a timer with a dial to come on 30minutes before you get in the car go to work
