What you can do

1) move the axle brackets of the front radious arms 3cm ONLY forward on the chassis. There is anything

else to do with thus mod. No panar relocation, springs etc.

2) then make a trim of the rear corner that your tires are rubbing at. Then the ''gup'' close it with a new

leaf of alu or iron.

Thats the way people who race at 4x4 comps with jimny's go.

I have also done the 3cm moving and 3 months now have no problem. Also my 31'' not rubbing now.

Take a look to understand better what i say,

Thanks Panosd, I suppose that Gazwells suggestion of fitting 4cm longer radius arms would serve the same purpose as moving them forward by 3cm, dont you think.

My concerns with this axle moving action is that it may negatively alter the castor of the front axle.

Also I have 33s not 31s like you, what lift is your Jimny please.

I have 31'' with 4'' lift. The movement of the front axle by 3cm to front has nothing to do with the

castor angle. The angle stays the same. You dont turn something. You just get 3cm further. With this

you will also gain better angle and clearence when you go up a hill.

The 3cm that i keep on saying is the limit independed from the ride hight, that you can do

it without any effect on coil spring and shock uper mount, panar bracket etc.

About the 4cm longer radius arms i can't say anything because i don't know their origin-make.

Ive just been out to look at it again and I think I will do some cutting of the arch before moving/extending the radius arms. I think the moving/extending action will make worse the steering arm/panhard fouling problem worse and I still haven't sorted that one yet :)
