If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I got angle grinder sparks on the windscreen of a car once years ago, ended up with a new screen, as even after scraping with the razor blade there was enough left to go rusty
The same happens to paint, they melt in and go rusty.
Now If I get the angle grinder out I cover everything within 500yds with cardboard, old blankets etc.
If you watch Ed China on TV, he angle grinds like fury, spreading sparks everywhere and never thinks to cover anything. (But he can get a perfect paint finish with an aerosol can, like a professional sprayshop, so he is obviously a true god)

Think il make a patchwork quilt if any more holes, anyway a bit of steel plate is a lot cheaper than a main dealer only complete rear floor section at £220
Lookin good Smoggy, H**l of a lot of work though, have you checked your sills?
John.

Not got to the sills yet as im working my way forward. Are they a known weak point too?
There's a few small tell tale scabs but just on the inside plate, nothing that looks as bed as the rear floor pan and nothing on the outward facing edge even with the plastic decor panels removed
Was just gonna spray chemical rust converter in then waxoyl the cavity and underseal the inner face after cleaning up the scabs.
