Just remembered!
When you weld the floor, mask off/cover the windows. I didn't and ended up with tiny pock marks in the glass.
I'm not saying weld splatter did this, it could be from using an angle grinder for cutting the rust out to start with. All I know is, the glass wasn't like that before the repair.

The rear arches (and the majority of the under side of the body work) on Jimny’s have a textured finish to them, and it seems to hold up well against stone chips and rust. Don’t really see the point in undersealing these areas… I think I’m going to focus on the bare metal and the chassis. Might even use masking tape to keep my lines a bit neater
OCD much!
Mine is showing far less rust, and is mainly just surface scabs. Planning on using rust converter on the worst areas, and then waxoyl underseal

Got both my rear arches undersealed this weekend… along with all the prep and rust treatment around the welds on the chassis. If you get underneath and look about 10inches in front of the rear wheels there is a body mount… which was quite heavily corroded on mine
As you said, in the main the arches are covered in a plastic like underseal except the boot floor, which I’ll get painted when I remove the back box and towbar
