Learnt something i have wondered about for 2years!

A neighbour has a pine tree with needles that drop all over my Jimny... once these get into the blowers the cabin gradually fills with needles that get fired out whenever i put my blowers on!

Just called 2 dealers... one argued that Jimny's don't have pollen/cabin filters... the other gave me a price of £30+VAT

Guys, after the severe typhoon just hit us in Hong Kong, found the passenger footwell flooded with about an inch of water. That's the only area where rain leaked in. Removed as much water as possible but too lazy to remove the carpet to dry underneath. Cat Crystals (silica gel kitty litter) to the rescue. Put the Cat Crystals into an old pillow case and lay the lot on the damp carpet. Bone dry carpet in 24 hours.

Sorted the leakage problem. Apparently near the front cabin air intake underneath the black plastic trim below the windscreen there are drain holes driver side and passenger side. The drain holes are blocked by plant debris over time and the water level builds up and overflows into the cabin via the cabin freshair intake.

Using a garden hose on high pressure a cleared the drain holes and no more rain leakage into the cabin. Getting access to clear the drain holes requires removing the black plastic trim underneath the windscreen.
