Gen4 Workshop Manual was created by mlines

Those of you who have the Jimny Gen4 Workshop manual will have noticed it has stopped working. This is due to the withdrawl of Adobe Flash Player on 12th January. Flash player is used to display the images and diagrams. The issue is increased by the fact that the manual only works in Internet Explorer.

I am in IT and have not yet explored options for re-enabling Flash or loading a flash emulator extension such as Ruffle. But being in IT, I am lazy and its easier to see if anyone else has a quick fix for this to avoid me having to think!

I wonder what the dealers will do to get around it? Their system must have used Flash as well?

They use the online subscription system which is different. I have checked the subscription system and it still works just fine, I just use the official CD to keep my subscription costs down.

I have also contacted them.

In the meantime it happily runs on an old Windows XP virtual machine.
