Surely straight-across between-the-radius-arms guards such as that would be detrimental to suspension flex too?

Don't the arms need to move independently? :unsure:

I'll weld one to the front of mine when the diff is out for the LSD and matching 26 spline shafts and HD CVs going in...



I'll weld a plate under the diff too, to protect that bit too...

Mine will see rocks! (I don't drink and drive, so I'll walk to the pub and leave it at home ;) )

I don't have it on day to day but it's taken a bit of a beating lately.

I can't work out how that strip of metal is supposed to strengthen or protect anything?

It's bolted between the radius arm brackets which are welded to the axle housing and don't move relative to each other. The radius arms can still flex on their bushes as usual.
