Fitted Martin’s BigJimny armrest. Video instructions spot on - didn’t rush it - particularly cutting the foam, seat fabric and seat covers.

A great upgrade, much much better than the Armster. Performs like an OEM product. Thank you Martin. An excellent product and super quick service.

I agree, I don't use mine on urban drives, but on dual carriage ways and motorways it is superb.

I cleaned and gaped my spark plugs today.

Here is the before picture, front plug on the left.

Think I need a new set.

I gave them a good clean with a wire brush, some wet and dry and set the gap. Then it was time for a road test,I like to think there was more power, certainly it seemed to rev better. I will how it goes for a week or so and pick up some new plugs.

A few bits and bobs bought and a few odd jobs completed to prepare the car for a few days of driving down to Rome next week so my Italian girlfriend can see her parents once again.

Grabbed some spare coolant and oil which I can decant into some more suitable sized bottles for taking with me as well as all the other bits you need for driving through Europe.

Still need to:
- Wire up coolbox
- Wire up inverter
- Re-spray and re-fit roofrack
- Put tent on roofrack

... then we are off on Sunday night to reach Folkstone by 4:30am with plans of getting a 7am start through France.
