good choice,enjoy fitting them
a word of advise which i wish i did before fitting mine, properly clean and hammerite the chassis mounts prior to fitting the guards. they collect mud and leaves etc etc which will lead to rust! when the weather improves i will be removing mine to paint underneath.
i used a bearing grease to sort of hold the spacers in place, the guards are a very tight fit so some levering and repositioning of the spacers is needed as you fit the guard. All fun and games, swear alot it makes it all better
Yep they are a git to try and fit
Spent 1.5 hours getting one bolt out and trying to fit one of the guards. Using grease is a great idea and almost worked but I could not get the spacers to align. Tomorrow I will try again but this time put the J up on ramps so I can actually fit underneath it!

I did warn ya    (shouldnt laugh really i know what your going through!)
the grease is merely to hold them on the mount whilst you try wedge the guard over them, they still all needed wiggling into the right place with a flat blade screwdriver. once you get one lined up get that bolt in the asap so it cant fall down
i had a right nightmare fitting the last one on the rear, as i had the front up on ramps when i popped the bolt out the axle twisted slightly putting the holes in the radius about 10mm out of line with the holes in the mount!!!had to try pull the axle to where it should be while holding the guard on and trying not to move the spacers whilst inserting the bolt with my 3rd hand was a right pig!!!
dreading having to take them off to paint undereath will be a day long job
