I was thinking about making a rear bumper as well, maybe I should make a more beefier design which is also about 28kg’s to get the balance just right.
Also I forgot to mention the front mounting plate, I did not weigh it before welding it on the frame, but it’s about 3-5kg’s.

If you take more weight away further back it will only increase the effect of the weight at the front. It's not too much of a problem but it will make the car understeer more and tend to be harder to turn into a corner..i would really see if you could add a little more weight to the back to try and get the balance back and make it more neutral. A Jimny is light enough at the back to start with.
That is good advise... I have added loads of weight up front and the back has been stripped in comparison. Best excuse to wack on a back metal bumper if you ask me! Even it out a bit.
