Finished the welding on the bumper today in my friends workshop.

You say this is your first welding project? Looks very good to me :-)

What does it weigh? I made one for my car and I ended up chopping most of the back of the box section out to reduce weight and drilled large holes in the underneath sections for drainage and further weight reduction. It still is ridiculously heavy, but I like it :-)

J999 MNY, ULYSSES M18 VVT with ITB's Dyno tested at 130hp

Pickup/tipper, R7me gearbox & 6.4 Rocklobster, 31" Toyo MT, 2x ARB air locker 3.9 diffs in braced axles, 6" total lift, Floating rear conversion, Raptor painted, CB, Recaro's, Caged, etc, etc...

I’ve put the bumper on a scale today, it’s 28kg’s without any fixtures.
So the end total weight will be around 30-31kg’s

I was hoping for less than 50kg, so to me it’s fine.

I do want to cut the weight elsewhere if I can.
