Bit of work on the S200KYS Jimny today...

TrailGear rear shafts going back in, new disks on the rear, and a new ARB compressor, as the old one sounded like a wet f&rt!

Compressor was an 'easy' straight swap...

Up in the air to get the shafts out, without disturbing the oil as it was done fairly recently...

TG shaft back in... new disk on...

Bugger :( Needs pads too BAH  So round to friends garage (50 yards!) and ask him to get me some in quick (they have these little vans than scoot around delivering to all the garages). .

Wind the pistons in ready then, should be first thing in the morning, as I got to them late afternoon to order the pads...

Nice work Dave.
But, why not just buy new spares for the ARB compressor. They should be easily available and fairly cheap.

I would of, but I'm no compressor expert?

New one is fine, old one will be going on eBay with a video to explain the problem, and see if anyone wants it for 'spares or 'repairs'...

Have a full wiring loom and the air plumbing bits too...

My ARB compressor had an issue with not running well. took it apart, changed a bearing. After that now runs perfect. Original ARB spare part. Think it cost me £15 :)

There are in total about 6 bolts on the compressor, so it's very easy to service :)
