Yes, due to popular demand we have organised a BigJimny Meet event on June 14th 2026 at  Parkwood 4x4 (a.k.a Tong) which is between Leeds and Bradford in West Yorkshire. This is a meet-up with 4x4 off-road drive around event. This is a social meet along with the opportunity to drive your vehicle off-road on a site where there is something for everyone. So its time to put it in your diary as this is a not to be missed event.

This is an event for all vehicles, from shiny to fully tricked up. It is also a social event with overnight camping and a great vibe for those wanting to simply hang around with fellow Jimny enthusiasts. The event location is Parkwood 4x4 which is often called "Tong", the postcode is BD4 0RR. This is one of the largest off-road sites in the UK and has a variety of firm tracks through to extreme testing terrain. There will be a burger van during the day for breakfast, snacks and lunch. We will be also organising toilets and wash facilities for the camping area.

All participants must be pre-booked, turn up ad-hoc on the day will not be permitted. General spectators are not permitted as there is only limited space. Everyone attending should have a seat in a booked vehicle and that seat should have appropriate safety provision (seat belt, child seat, harness etc.)

Booking is PER VEHICLE and it is £45, there is a multi-vehicle discount for VEHICLES BOOKED AT THE SAME TIME so gather your friends together and make a single booking to save.

Additional drivers/passengers with the same vehicle are free, we are setting the limit on tickets to 140.

BEFORE YOU BOOK - You can ask questions etc. in the forum here: - FORUM DISCUSSION

ONCE YOU HAVE BOOKED - There is a WhatsApp group just for this event (no Technical Support or general Jimny Chat) - Please email  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. with your entry number and mobile number to gain  access

Trailered vehicles are permitted, however this is a family drive around event so do not come if you expect to blast around in a "scrapper". BigJimny and the site owners reserve the right to refuse entry to vehicles that appear to be little more than scrap. There has been a rise in recent events(not BigJimny events!) where people have brought along a scrapper to destroy, this is not what this event is about.

As with any motorsport or motor related event, there is a small element of danger. You are responsible for driving in a safe manner. The event is suitable for beginners and shiny cars but you should be aware that there is always a chance of a puncture or foliage scratches dependant on how you drive.

6 hours 30 mins on the trail today and their last planned off road day! They hit a lot of trails that went through forests which was nice, a lot of greenery and different mountain scenery. Made one wrong turn and ending up having to reverse down quite a steep hill which was not great. Came across an old military base high up in the mounta...

6 hours on the trail! A great day on the trails today and with some really amazing scenery made up for the closed trails yesterday. Highlights  were an off road tunnel (Tunnel Parpaillon) one of the highest in Europe which is 2,637m above sea level and was built by the French army in 1900. A high mountain road named Col de la Bonette which is ...

And its goodbye to Italy and back to France today, they are weaving backwards and forwards across the border over these couple of days. It was 6 hours on the trail today. So its Au revoir France and Ciao Italia. Over 6 hours of trail today with some more to come. A few more surfaced roads today although the breathtaking views made up for it. High enough today to come across ice and snow in places. Redmond found that the Italian off-road sections were in much better condition than the French. Part of the route w...

40330408_1191803570962653_4524037396752236544_n-2_1

Some big mountains to cross today. Redmond and Becky circuited Mont Blanc via Beaufort, Bourg-Saint Maurice and Mont Pourri. They have past various dams (3 in fact), high mountain lakes, various ski resorts, pine forests and small towns high up in the mountains. The terrain today has been very tough indeed, several occasions having to engage 4...
