tried out the new jack
and did some wire brushing and covered everything with rust convertor - 3 hours later, one arch done
the area behing the headlight was nearly perforated, a screwdriver would easily go through it, brushed it carefully and smothered it.
anyone with a jim more than 6 years old needs to protect this area before it's gone

I noticed mine today as well, i looked up above each front wheel liner and just saw crust. Think the bumper may have to come off to do a proper job.

got a new rear door strut from
SGS
- £25 next day delivery
there is no way to separate the ball and socket on the original one
without resorting to extreme measures
job done, it simply pops onto the replacement strut
I had to destroy the door fitment inorder to get it off, and used a M8 coach bolt and nuts to refit
job done
happy days
